Burpees are a full body functional exercise that combine elements of the squat, pushup, plank, and jump.
Burpees help improve overall strength , endurance, and conditioning as they work your entire body and target your quads, glutes, hamstrings, chest, arms, and core.
Stand up straight with your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart.
Lower your body into a squat position and place your hands on the floor in front of you.
Kick back your feet behind you so that your body is in a pushup position and parallel with the floor.
Perform the first half of a pushup, lowering your body to the floor.
Push your body up, raising your chest and kicking your feet up and out to the side of you, returning to the original squat position.
Jump in the air as high as you can, extending your arms straight above you.
